I'm lookin' too. Hard to find!

If you're looking for surplus 8x57 you're looking at least three decades back.

The most recent I've seen is Romanian from the '80s. Berdan-primed (so corrosive) and lacquered steel case. I got the last of the stocks MilArm had about five years ago, and run it through my FN-49 and K-98. Haven't seen any more recently - this side of the border.

Nothing wrong with it at all. Consistently goes bang. There are good reports about the reliability of the '70s Yugoslavian, but the Yugo stuff from the '50s is a bit more hit and miss apparently.

New shipment just arrived.

Lever arms just got a good shipment in from what I understand and is on there web site.
Hope this helps.
It's yugo

reloading equipments are expensive but youll have fun with them. right now im using 36gr bullets pulled from .22lr for .223s just testing right now but if it works ill be all over it just for plinking

It's $0.55 a round. If you can find new commercial ammo for that price you should buy all you can find.

im not talking about the link u gave me cause that is cheap but the lever arms 8mm from the 40-50s is about 90 cents a round and i rather buy new at that price lol looks like i might be ordering a can of ammo from budget if i get me a k98 soon :)

No, it's not. It's $499 for a case of 900 at Lever. $0.55 per round.

ya but u have to buy a crate to have a good deal and im not rich haha and its pricey for single boxs

Unfortunately, shooting is not a cheap hobby, especially when you're shooting something like 8x57.

Buying surplus in case lots pays dividends now, and in the future when you've got an assured supply stocked up.

If you don't want the whole case, buy from Henry. If that's too much, too, then you're going to be paying $1+ a round for commercial. It sucks, but it's the way it is.

8mm ammo

i've got a vz 24 on the way. i have visited 3 differnt gun shops looking for ammo. $40 for federal blue box is the cheapest to be had. no surpluss at all. i did get a line on some brass. looks like its going to cost about 85 cents a round to reload.
