8mm Mag Loads

Hi Beater,I'm using 88grs of Rl-25 with a Swift 200gr,A-Frame.Primer is Federal 215,OAL at 3.6".Published velocity is 3,175fps.Or try 83 gr. of Rl-25,and the 220 gr.A-Frame,at 3006fps.Same primer,same AOL.THESE ARE MAX LOADS!!!! WORK UP TO THEM!!!!Pressure listed at 61,200psi.Good Luck,Mur

Seriously, man. Hornady 220 grain bullet, 70.0 of H4831, lit with a Fed standard large rifle primer.
Not a max load; but quite accurate and controlable in a fairly light gun.

I use 81 gr of H4831 under the 220 gr Hornadys, over a Rem 9 1/2 Mag primer. 3081 fps, good accuracy. This is out of a 26" barrel, and I can safely get 3100 fps, but it's not as accurate. - dan
