8th Annual Upper Canada Double Gun Classic

In keeping with the pin-fires, I should show up in a top hat and shooting coat.

I was thinking bundhosen. Now I am reconsidering...

Why do I get the sense that you each have those outfits, or know where to get them, and are in some secret way thinking to wear them? Ok, if someone PM's me I'll do the breeks if you're going to follow through. Wife says she'll make me a pair if I get her some wool pants to get started. Or we can all wear Daisy Dukes with James.

I am near Kitchener/Waterloo. Bavarian trachten is pretty common at a certain time of year.

Daisy Dukes are not flattering one me FYI.

It was James in daisy dukes that got ya eh!!!

Actually, it was Dilly saying the Daisy Dukes were not flattering on him. That to me sounds like an admittance to actually giving them a try. And if he tried them on least once, he must already own a pair or in the very least can borrow a pair. So there is always the chance he’ll give them a go.

Chairman of the Board! Puttin' on the duds.
Seriously, everyone should step up and maybe wearing a tie would be a good gesture. It's kind of an event. Wash your truck. Represent.

To get things back on track a little, I was giving some thought to a convo that I just had with James. It appeared that last years event outgrew the amount of tables available at the venue. If anyone has one of those folding tables and some room to pack it in their vehicle, I’d encourage you to bring one just in case. I’ll bring a couple along with me just in case.

Good thinking Alvero. I was surprised by just how full it was last year. If we have a strong response this year, we are looking at an addition covered area for next year, likely a rented event tent.

We have had some vendors in the past, which was great to see, but they were under the same limited shelter as the rest of us. I'm wondering if some vendors may already have tents of their own from exhibiting elsewhere(?).
Edit: maybe not fair to say given the effort required just to bring some wares (e.g. books, as an example) and make the effort to show their support.
We'll discuss offline. Sorry for the interruption.

John, this year we will have a separate Registration/Organization tent. Which will relieve the space constrictions a bit. Plus make it more obvious and straightforward where arriving attendees go to register and collect their name badges.

I'll bring out the tweed vest again this year...I haven't actually worn it since last year....
Besides, likely the closest thing I'll get to a driven shoot in 2024 so what the heck!
