Custom Foxes and Browning Superposed-es by ClaudioOpacak.
See the before and after, original guns (suitable candidates) next to finished projects.
He takes the classic gun and refines it. Totally tricks them out with new wood, metal finishes, recut engraving and enhanced graceful lines.
Order yours today (really, you actually can, for example there was a 28bore Superposed on the table ready to go).
They're stunning.

Congrats on Gun of the Year BryBenn! That is quite an accomplishment given the quality of guns at the event.

Looks like an amazing day. Wish I could have been there. Hopefully I can make it back one of these years.

[Top photos of post 181] Just as a side note, one of the "most unexpectedly remarkable" guns I saw at the event was that unusually gorgeous version of the ordinarily more humble Browning BSS, I refer to the 20G with the seemingly grade 5 wood. It didn't occur to me to ask if it had possibly been restocked, but it was like encountering an ordinarily plain woman you see every day suddenly all dressed up for the ball or something. What I was in fact wondering was if possibly the Japanese were originally issuing their BSSs as a more deluxe gun than they turned out in later years.

And there was even a Martini in there :)

That white tote on the seat of the table is now four boxes of pristine old 20 gauge ammo lighter. One box was priced at $1.88, I paid 15.96 X that and figure I stole them. They were all in extremely great condition. I remember some of the old boxes as a boy looking at my fathers gun stuff. Shouldve bought em all. I learned a lot listening to the very knowledgeable members. Had a great discussion with Ole Flinter about the Winchester model 21s and learned a great deal about the different models and options that were available. Great time

Thank you for posting pics.

I am really sad that I missed this event. I spoke with Canvasback and he has some great ideas for the future of the event.

This is the second year in a row that my work got in the way of attending. I really hope that next year I am available to come! If not I am going to send my dad with some of my guns!

Congrats to all those who displayed guns and thank you to James for organizing this. what a great event and its nice to see these old guns being recognized.
