8x63?

If you do a search you will find several threads on the 1919 conversion to 8X63. It was Swedish ammo bought in error by Marstar a few years back and dumped onto the Cdn market super cheap. The swedes used it in their light and medium machine guns at the start of WW2. They had the equivalent of US BAR, the 1919A4, and K98s in the 8mm caliber. It recently dried up, so any extra stocks of the ammo are now essentially worth the same as lower grade 308 or 30-06.

I have shot about 12,000 rounds of this through my GPMG, and have another 30,000 rounds saved for the future. The semi auto GPMG with these belts of ammo is about the most fun you can have with your pants still on here in Canada.
