I have a good load for a 195 gr Hornady Spire Point using Vit 160 loaded to the max length for the magwell. It gets me close to 2950 ft/sec with good accuracy.
Amazingly the 200 gr TSX is the same length of bullet as the 200 gr Nosler Accubond (or real close) and I would like to try and find a load for these - but in particular the TSX.
The limit of course is the length of the magwell in my ZG47. The 195 gr Hornady is about 3/8 inch less in length than the Nosler and TSX so I need to reduce the load a few grains and work back.
Has anyone gone the route of the 200 gr TSX in an 8x68 in a 98 type Mauser magwell length?
Just looking for comments while I await a little warmer weather to try out some loads.
