A request for a gentlemen at my club without internet access.
He has a circa 1964 factory Custom shop Mannlicher-Schoenauer in 8x68s RWS. He's seeing pressure sign and pierced primers. The ammunition is new manufacture and seems to be in spec.
On though is that the firing pin is too long. He's mic'd it at 1.79mm.
If anyone else has such a beast, could you please measure the firing pin from the bolt face and then PM or post the results.
