Howdy!

I've heard Nosler makes this bullet, they only list it in their load data on their website, of which no loads are posted yet. Does anyone out there know what the B.C. and the S.D. is for this bullet?
Anyone out there use it, and if so how happy are you?
Haven't got my Wholesale Sports catalog yet but I don't think they stock them yet.:(

Thanks for your help!

They have a SD of .267 and a BC of .494.

But I read on another forum that Nosler has discontinued them. Perhaps to be replaced with a 250 gr Accubond.

I called Wholesale a few days ago and wanted to buy all the Ball Tips i could get and they told me that they are not available anymore and Nosler told me that they will be replaced with a 250gr Accubond.Kind of sad, since the BT is super accurate in my gun und i love the way it kills deer and Blackbear.I guess,i'll find out how those Accubond will perform.

Thanks Guys! I don't think they mention anything about the Accubond on the Nosler site either, hope they get the info on soon!
Thanks for the link Mauser98!

Varminter, I know you're running the 64 Brenneke, but what kind of velocities were you able to obtain and what is your barrel length?

Noel

Hi Noel.
Barrel length on my Steyr is 25,5" and i get 2850f/sec with 250gr BT
2550f/sec with 320gr Woodleighs and 2700-2750f/sec with 286gr SP-Alaska,also i used 231gr PPC-Norma with a Velocity of around 3000f/sec,but keep in mind my Steyr has a free bore, thus enabling me to load it higher than other rifles that don't have one. Most of those loads are not absolute maximum in my rifle, but they shoot the best.
Greetings

Same problem with the .375 260 gr BT, Nosler dropped it in favour of the Accu Bond. It's too bad, since I thought the BT down loaded to 2600 would make an easy recoiling, accurate, medium game bullet. I haven't played with the Accu Bonds very much, although I bummed a few to try out. Maybe I can find a caribou for test medium.
