9.3*62 vs 375 H&H

Both calibres are very popular in South Africa. In some African States it is illegal to hunt dangerous game with the 9,3. The minimum calibre is usually the .375 H&H.

The very well-known South African trophy hunter Peter Hamilton (Flack) uses a Brno in .375 H&H to hunt everything from the tiny little dik-dik to Buffalo.

Both are good, but the .375 is a bit more versatile.

So far I've taken animals with the .375 from the size of steinbuck at maybe 15-20 pounds to giraffe that weighed 3000. Half the size of coyote to twice the size of a buffalo. You can even do it with one bullet choice without giving up anything at either end, couple that with trajectory at least equal to the 30-06, (again with the same bullet) and it's getting to be a tough act to follow. Need more? Stick some solids in your mag and take on the biggest of the big, no muss, no fuss, no legal questions. How does a cartridge even begin to top that?
