9.3 X 64 Breneke Stability Q

Hey fellas a ol legend i know from Victoria has hit me up about his 9.3x64 Breneke? He is wondering weather the Twist will stabilise the 232GR projectiles.

Twist is 1:14

Bullets he Has are 232GR Norma and Woodleigh 232GR ppsn.

I mentioned I would ask a Bunch of Gun Nutz and get back to him about it!!

Any CGN gurus know any more?

Don't see why it wouldn't...With a 24" barrel should be able to run them around 2900fps. All he can do is try them and see how they shoot out of that rifle.

According to Berger's twist rate calculator, they reach full stability in a 1:20 twist barrel

Too much twist is less of a problem than too little. The 9.3mm's in general were designed around a 285 gr. bullet. Stabilizing a lighter bullet shouldn't be a problem. Accuracy is not guaranteed though.
