I acquired a 1943 Sako M39, in 9,3x53r Finnish a few years ago, and after searching for a year or more was lucky enough to find 4 boxes of Sako 102D factory rounds for it. I have shot one box off, and have 60 rounds left. I considered selling the rifle, but have since decided to keep it and shoot it more.
I have searched high and low for more factory rounds in Canada, but have been unsuccessful. Who knows, maybe I have the only 4 boxes in Canada.
Anyways, today I ordered dies from CH4D so I can reload for this rifle.
Just wondering if anyone out there has load data for this cartridge.
The factory Sako cartridges are 256 gr Bullets and are rated at 685m/sec (2250fps) according to Sako's website.
Something similar to this load would be nice. I would love to have the opportunity to take a deer, or bear with the rifle.
