Does anyone know of a Canadian dealer that stocks 9.3X57 dies?
So far I have checked Epps,Russells, and Wholesale....Hornady's site lists them but would prefer to try Canadian dealers first....

Try 4D Custom Die, CH tool and die, they have a lot of odd caliber dies and I had good service out or them. They have a web site I don't have the link

nrut, when you find out, please let the rest of us know too. It seems to be getting quite a cult following here!:D
I have not had any luck yet, but I hadn't heard of WR1894's outfits either.

I read about these Huskey's in 9.3X57 at www.castboolits.gunloads.com several months ago and lusted after one but it would be to costly to import one of these rifles....I bought a 9.3X62 CZ550FS(full stock) this spring and finally got my dies and started reloading cast in it a few weeks ago...full power loads in the 9.3X62 are'nt my cup of tea so I'm using 35 grs. of H4895 under a RCBS .375/268gr bullet sized down to .368"...I have only shot one group with that load as I was sighting in...just under .75" for 5 shots (5 power scope with heavy cross hairs) the best cast group I have ever shot!....While the CZ is compact at 8.25# scoped it is heavier than I would like...
Last weekend I stumbled across your 9.3 thread and that lead me to TEC...then I saw your Moose hunting thread with the 9.3 well this guppy was hooked....I ordered a 98 and a 96 today....I would think that 9.3X62,64,or 66 are not needed on a open sited rifle in N.Amer. as you would'nt be able to use the extra range they provide...
So thanks for the lead on TEC..:)

I tried quite a few different Canadian sources without luck! Finally ordered from Grafs.com in the U.S. They had on hand 5 sets of Hornady dies for the 9.3x57 going price was $59.95
Hope this helps.

A link to Grafs was also posted at the castboolit site....however after going there today I see Grafs does'nt list 9.3X57 dies....However I will call them Monday as that price is about 7 bucks cheaper than ordering them direct from Hornady...Thanks RockChucker..:)

nrut, I will totally agree the bigger 9,3 aren't needed. It is mostly my quest to pack something really different. After seeing how fast that bull dropped I couldn't imagine seeing one fall any faster. Also, while the bullet wound channel was about a one inch hole, all the way through both shoulder blades and stopping just short of the offside hide, there wasn't any bloodshot meat to speak of, I believe it is because of the lower velocity.

I think my only other excuse for the bigger and faster cases is that they flatten the trajectory somewhat. Generally it won't make that much difference but I am going on an Ek hunt in a couple years and it would be nice to be able to reach out there a ways.

Thanks for the tip Rock Chucker, that is a great price! They didn't complain about shipping to Canada?

Just got off the line with Higgison....He had two sets of Hornady 9.3X57 dies and is now down to one set :D ....He also has 9.3X57 brass but said that when he runs out that will be it as he can't get any more....
