So I bought some norma brass from tradeex, and some hornady interlock 286 bullets. I have some h335 from loading my 303. But i can find no load data anywhere for this combo. I do not have a chrono, so I am looking for a good load to just put together and shoot. I will be firing them in my husky rifle. Also where can i find the 9.3x57 in a loading manual? I would like to try other loads also but data seems to be hard to find.

I use 50 grs. of Alliant RL-15 or 42.7 gr. of WC-735 (5-7% faster than H335, like H322) with the PPU/PRVI 285 gr. bullet, using WLR primers in Norma or re-formed PRVI 8x57 brass, (the PRVI brass actually has more capacity, but not by much), seated so that the 2nd cannelure (ie to make the longest OAL) is just flush with the case mouth (3.141"). No excess pressure signs in any of my Husqvarna rifles (3 x 46, 1x 46A & 1x 146). Quickload tells me, given a 55.916 gr. useful case H2O capacity in my chambers, that my RL-15 loads are generating 48,648psi, while the WC-735 loads are generating 42,834 psi. Since the MAP for the 6.5x55 cartridge is 48,225psi, I believe that, while warm, my loads, in MY rifles, are safe. YMMV.

I also have rounds loaded for a OCW test using same components but substituting RL15, if this winter ever ends.

H-335 is a very good powder for the X57. Start at 43 grains and carefully rise up to about 45 grains. This will provide you a velocity of about 2150 fps.

Yes, Handloader have an article but the info, other than the load table, is not that great. Also, you can find a pretty good array of loads in "Big Bore Rifles and Cartridges".
