Looking for a starting load for 9.3x62mm ,320gr. Woodleigh rn.sp..96 Husky mauser 24" tube. Pls let me know if you have a fav. load & whats the starting load. cheers

Just be aware that the magazines of the M/649 otr a rechambered M/46-46A (based on the "commercial' M/38 or the rechambered 46/46A made on the M/94) won't allow OALs much over 3.240".
The loads from the article are maximum loads, and you'll be lucky if you can reach these velocities. Depnding on the gun, you may see up to 100 / 150 fps less than the published loads. If so, you better stick with faster burning powders.

You can also try Hybrid 100V, starting at 54 grains, H-IMR 4350 at 53/54 grains too, for the faster burning powders; BL-C(2) @ 52 grains, RL15 @ 49 grains, H-380 @ 51 grains, H-335 @ 46 grains and IMR 3031 @ 45 grains.

RL17 is a good load if you can get the velocity, if not, then, RL15, H-380, BL-C(2) and 3031 usually work great too.

Personally, in my M/38/94 based rifles in that caliber, I do prefer the 250 grains Woodleigh as it can be seated further than most other bullets.

I've seen insane loads on Reloader's Nest, as everybody can put a load in and they don't seem to check... so, be cautious with those and use common sense. This particular load seems on the (pretty) high side.
