The plastic stock may have been invented in Europe, so the gun could be dropped quickly in the face of an enemy attack....i think enough good guns are made in N/A that we don't have to support UN hugging countries in Europe. If you want a cheap, mainly plastic gun, they make that, Tikka doesn't have a monopoly on cheap plastic guns, if you want a caliber similar to a loaded down .375 I'm sure they'll make it for you. I just think that we should support the companies that got us here! Some of them are in trouble as we buy Euro and Asian guns or shotguns make by Turkeys.
I guess, you won't be buying any guns ,that are made in Canada either, since no other country hugs the UN like Canada does.:puke:
i hope, you are not driving one of those Japanese cars either and i was thinking of giving you are British Double in 577 Nitro, but now i think,i can't do that since we do not want to support the evil european Empire.

mmmmmmm....fruity Eurocal with flimsy plastic stock, I know, I know, the Europeons have distinquished themselves with their firearm freedoms and who can argue with their grand military traditions going back to WW2, France, Italy, Norway, etc., all proved to be great allies...lets buy some more guns off them.....no thanks...give me a lever gun made of steel and wood and help support people who are willing to fight for their rights!!!

You don't have to just go plastic.

Long live the 9,3!!!!!!!!!

Does my first post make sense now Noel?

I don't think any man could hold a 710 and talk about Remington and Tradition with a straight face these days.

Indeed it does Jarrod. I fear the long hours in the salt mine do not always lend to a sharp mind. Not that it is anyways.

A couple more for Ben,

Just found this on the AR forum, one for Ben. This gent chronied the 270gr Speer just over 2500 fps. The chromed action is a bit over pimped for me but a nice job otherwise.

And even something for the "Talley Twins". There's a 9,3 out there for every one!

If you hand-load, go with 9.3x62, IMO better cartridge then 45-70.
However if you buy ammo, consider buying 45-70 for better ammo availability.

Something about this thread makes me want to pack a pickled herring and hard tack lunch, grab one of my Husqvarnas and head up the inlet to see if there's any decent pillaging to be done

Don't forget an 8% porter @ room temp.

If you want to shoot brush, I recommend a gas powered weedwacker. If you want to shoot deer, any accurate center fire rifle will do. It's total nonsense this brush gun crap!
