9.3X62 Load Help ?

My CZ 550 FS 9.3 is looking for a good load using either a 250, 270, or 286 bullet.
I'm working with Lapua brass and a host of different powders, but so far nothing seems to be working, at least not as well as the T3 that my son requisitioned from my safe.... it thrives on 4320 or RL15.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated either here or by PM... :)

I have the CZ550 FS carbine and the Max load for RL15 in the Nosler reloading data shoots 1/2" MOA with 286 gr Partitions. I use the same load in a Tikka T3 and a Husqvarna.
 
I've used 55-57 grains of Varget with the 286 gr. Nosler Partition and it works like a charm.

i just worked up a load for that same rifle on the
weekend.
i used PRVI for brass , 285 grs lapuas for bullets and
59.5 grains of varget and cci 200 for primers.
1" groups which is ok for me, it's a hunting rifle that i intend to take moose
hunting.
there weren't any pressure signs but both ends of the rifle where vicious.
try Varget and work up your load, you might like it.

Just for comparison, I just worked up a load for the Zastava;
285 Privi round nose with Privi brass, 250 primer, 56.5 gr Varget set to the cannelure (cant recall the OAL- but relatively shorter) = 2370 ft/sec and moa.

In my Sig 9.3 x62 - same loads but with 286 Nosler partitions, Norma or TSX and 59 gr Varget= 2360 ft/sec

As a caution: Work up the load as the 59gr is too much for the Zastava and my BRNOs.
 
Thanks to all for the suggestions, I do appreciate.
So far all my test loads with RL15 and Varget have been less than satisfying unlike the T-3 which gave awesome groups with any combination.
Maybe 4320 powder might work well.

I have burned a lot of IMR 4895 and Ball C2 under 286gr bullets with very good accuracy and great velocity over the past 30 thirty years or so. Do you have any of that?

In a Husqvarna/FN '98.

Horn. 286gr.
Varget.
Graf brass.
CCI br2.
Seated .015" off.

Mine maxed out at 60 grains during work-up, have dropped it back to 59gr. for a working load. A stout charge, and may be over max in some rifles.
Excellent accuracy from this skinney 23.5" barrel .... at MOA or slightly under, & consistent.
 
I run 62 grains of RL15 behind 286 Norma RNs in Lapua cases with Federal 215 primers. Gives me 2350 FPS. My rifle's chamber is a little on the big size and my load is over the book max. I believe that Ken Waters listed 59.5gr of RL15 with 285 Normas as a max load. I'd start with 56 gr of RL15 and Hornady 286s and work up. Or give 4895 a whirl. Could be just the tisket. Or buy some N550 or RL17 and head for the hills with the velocity.
 
I run 59.5 RL 15 under a 286 partition as my go to in my FN mauser and the same load shoots cloverleafs in my cz 550 medium 2435 fps. Here's some I use in my rifles

63.5 RL 15 under a 250 accubond or ballistic tip, cz 550
60 varget under 286 hornady cz 550
58 Rl 15 under Privi 286 either rifle

I found IMR 4895 to work as well as varget without the lot to lot variations and have got great accuracy and velocity with varget, rl15 and IMR 4895

Yesterday I tried some loads with IMR 4064 that showed real promise, snappy but very tight grouping.

One powder that gives good accuracy in my Swiss Arms 970 is 59 grains of IMR 4007SSC under a 286 grain Hornady interlock. It is a fairly mild load though at 2150 fps.
 
Winchester 760 is fantastic in my 9.3x62. It's a ball powder so it meters exceptionally well and mag primers are generally recommended.
