9.3x62 'plans' in motion

... I did think it had been agreed that the new designation was .360 Wagner, not .366 Wagner. I am not getting my barrel engraved until the debate is finalized. Has anybody asked Ted?
Doug

Yes, I have spoken to Ted. And here is his answer:

Why not? said:

Greetings Ted,
We (meaning several of your CGN friends) are creating a poster.
It's about 'your' cartridge, the 9.3x62mm and incorporates your photo, and we need input from you.

Some of us have suggested that we call the cartridge the .360 Wagner, and others the .366 Wagner.
Which would you prefer?
And by the way, it's been too long since we chatted - how are you doing? :)

Hi Dennis,
Good to hear from you. We are doing well here. Looking forward to doing some ice fishing this week.
I am quite humbled by all the fuss and discussion over the 9.3x62. I think BUM may have started that. If I have a preference it would be for 366 rather than 360, as it reflects the actual bullet diameter more closely. Whatever the guys think best will be fine.
How are things down your way? Trust you are well, and looking forward to a great 2014.
Best,
Ted

So Ladies and Gentlemen, there you have it. According to Ted, the President and Founder of the 'Whynot Cartridge Company', the 9.3x62mm will henceforth be referred to in all official documents and correspondence as the .366 Wagner :)

They tell me, five working days shipping time for my Zastava '.366 Wagner'. Tomorrow is day four, but who's counting.

Depending upon the location of the shipping point in Ontario I have had rifles take anywhere from four to fifteen days, but the average is likely eleven working days.
If you were given a tracking number it can easily be checked.... I'm patiently waiting to see that Moose trivet along with it Johnn..

I phoned the order in on the 16th to Trade Ex and talked to Tony, the Dad. To get an idea of when I could expect it, he told me five working days and he anticipated getting it shipped on Monday the 20th. When I said it was my birthday gift and told him the date, he said"No problem. I'll get it in the mail this afternoon". That ;)woukd give eight working days, to make it in time. A three day cushion. All I can do now is hope he was correct.

A rifle purchase I made in Ontario was shipped on the 17th and according to the tracking schedule it will land on my doorstep on the 28th.
The only problem I have is a complete lack of trivets so I cannot post a picture..

Just need to get back to Ted about the photo

Holy Crap!!! Over 130 posts, all before the gun has even arrived! This thread will need to be stickied when you actually get the gun...maybe even its own forum by the time you actually get to shoot it!
