:)The 'plans' are in motion for my next rifle. I've decided on getting a 9.3x62 and at the gun show in Duncan this passed weekend, the ball started rolling.:D I happened on a package deal of 200 bullets, 285grSP. a new three die set of RCBS dies, one of which is a neck sizer and, 100 new unprimed Lapua brass. Next on the agenda, see what different brands are available in a Bavarian/Mannlicher style carbine.

Good stuff Johnn, I think you will enjoy playing with the cartridge.
My 9.3 is on a CZ550 FS and I really like it, an excellent shooter, well balanced and easy to carry.
As for other full stock rifles I think Zastava makes one in 9.3 and maybe Sako ?

I need to conceive this line of thinking.
I was up at Costco's today and the swim wear is already stocking the tables.
Maybe I should buy a new bee kee nee and see what follows me home?

Johnn, you must have a culprit in mind?
Custom build?

That was my '1st kick at the cat'. I was dealing with a guy from the southern BC interior. We got down to the 'vinegar strokes' on the rifle, ammo and price but when I offered payment via a certified cheque, the deal fell through.:( All the seller would accept was EMT and I'm not involved in any electronic banking. Oh well, not ment to be I guess, so, as we speak, I'm on the hunt to see what's available, ;)in a full stock design.

Ideally, the Mannlicher full length stock design is the #1 consideration. Zavasta, CZ, Brno, Husqvarna, I'm open to what's available.

:)Appreciate the offer. While Why not? was down visiting on the island, he offered to do the same. When he contacted the buyer, 'apparently' the deal had passed on to someone waiting in the wings when the payment deal I offered was rejected. There will be other opportunities I'm sure:).

I was going to offer the same thing. You know you're an old Fudd when Ted is more tech savvy than you!

There's a whole group of guys out there with more savvy than I have, and Ted is one of them, at the head of the line.;)Might help explain why I've purchased a couple of rifles from him. We, with a number of local CGNers, had a good lunch and chat session when he was here. Look forward to the next:).

You just keep rubbing that in knowing that I neither have wise old men to talk to nor fish and chips to eat.

Just when I was going to put you back on the Christmas list!

I'd have to disagree.............Johnn is pretty good at posting pictures, how many 20-30 year olds with access to the equipment exchange can't even do that???
