9.3x62 'plans' in motion

Well Beavermeat said he was in the industry so I guess we'll have to see what he can do with it. He also said he could do it for nothing, but I don't think that's fair, kinda taking advantage of a persons connections and possibly burning favors. I have no issue paying a fair market value for what we may get and I'll personally buy one for Ted. Anybody have any issues with purchasing these tins or posters from Beavermeat?

Not at all, that only sounds fair to me.

If Beavermeat does this for a living then it would not be fair for us to expect him to ply his trade for free.
I will not hesitate to pay for what is certain to be a slice of future Canadian gunnut history.
And good for you, c-fbmi .. for volunteering to buy a poster to give to Ted; he and his wife will be delighted.

Also, I have a Suggestion:
When the poster is completed, I suggest that we then start a thread on this forum - a .366 Wagner thread with the as its focus and dedicated to Ted.
The 1st post on that thread should, of course, contain a photo of the poster with some background info to 'set the stage'.
The .366 Wagner thread would provide a place for fans of that cartridge, and friends of Ted, to post pics of their rifles and the hunts they used them on.
(and, given the enthusiasm of the 'Friends of Why Not' , it wouldn't be too long before that thread gets sticky'ed).

I thought we were talking about the old style tin posters that hung in confectionaries, garages and bait shops... I have a couple in my "man cave." One from Winchester and another from Ruger. ..

Tin signs are a beyond my capabilities at my workplace. It can get then made, but it will not be cheap unless you do atleast 1000+. I will look into it. Although posters with or without foamboard backings is the most cost effective if you want it large. Firt I need a high resolution image. Decals are easy.

PM me if you are serious. We might need a design thread to come to a consensus.

Edit: tin signs are not too bad price wise, actually.

Posters have been mentioned,;)a couple of which I wouldn't mind if that becomes one of the viable options. Another I was thinking that might be handy is something along the line of a plasticized decal or label that could be stuck-on/attached on a cartridge box.

After loading up a couple boxes of ammo to test in my new 'toy', I printed a couple of examples that have been posted for consideration. Between my printer and some scotch tape................... .Something like that I would make good use of.

I'm interested as well. Definitely want a poster, tin plate would be cool depending on the price(university eats my money).

Edit: Count me in for some ammo box sized stuff.
