Anybody got some hands on experience shooting one of the zastava 9.3x62s, curious on how accurate they are and what the muzzle diameter is? Got a project in mind that could use one of their barrels.
thanks

If the barrels are the same quality as the ones on their factory rifles nothing to worry about there. Have a couple rifles and they shoot well.

I'm having one. Very accurate. It hits 300 yard gong every time with 250 grain nosler accubond. However, it does not shoot 230 grain naturalis well, maybe due to the light weight?
The scope base holes are misaligned in my case. I have to use all the windage, but it works now

Had the same issue with mine, a stainless one in a synthetic stock.

Fun surprise. Used up all the adjustment in my Leupold Vx1 and ended up still being 3-4" to one side of the bull. Luckily the irons were good enough to put a hole in a bull moose, at any rate but not what you want to discover right before a hunt. Installing Leupold bases with those two big screws in the back to adjust for windage fixed it after that.

HATED feeding Prvi 286 gr SP ammo but shot it into an inch and a half lol. Nosler even better.

Shortly after deciding to add a 9.3x62, also known as the .366 Wagner ;), to my little harem, in preparation, I started hunting for and accumulating components. I lucked out and picked up a set of RCBS dies, a sizeable quantity of new unprimed Lapua brass and generous quantity of 285gr PRVI Partisan bullets from a friend locally. Following that, and just prior to acquiring a '.366 Wagner', primarily at local gun shows, I picked up four boxes of Norma once fired brass and the following variety of bullets to ;) play with, load experiment and accuracy test.
- Norma 231gr
- Norma 286gr
- Spear 250gr
- TSX 286gr flat base
- Matrix 290gr bonded
- Matrix 300gr bonded.
I decided to go for an 'inexpensive' and full length wood model Zastava, from Tradex. I have a soft spot for full wood Mannlicher style stocked rifles, but only in fitting European calibres. Why I acquired and selection of bullets is I thought taking into consideration Zastava quality, getting accuracy may take some work. Oh, and for glass, nothing special. a 3x9 Bushnell Elite. The first two handloads I tried surprised me. Lapua brass, 285gr PRVI and IMR 4320, three shot group at 100yds, 0.704" . Same brass and bullets but using IMR 4064, 0.664"!! With that kind of accuracy, I haven't even tried any of the remain bullet selection as I'd be hard pressed to beat the accuracy I'm getting now. I was quite impressed, so much so that I acquired another of the same rifles, but this one in 7x57 :d:d:d .

I have few Zastavas in other calibres, never had any issue.
Looking for M07 now but no luck finding one in Canada, they are supposed to be exceptional for the value
