Hello there.
By any chance have any of you gents tried varget for this caliber.
How did it perform' if not tell me which powder works best for you.

I like RL15 and Varget in my 9.3X62. Both give good accuracy and velocity with the accuracy edge going to the Varget.

Below is a pict a target where I tested both powders with Hornady 286 gr bullets. The range was 100 meters.

Here you go.

All rounds were identical except for powder. Norma brass(partial resize), CCI200 primers and Hornady 286 gr seated to the cannelure. 21" barrel.

RL15 - 59 grs - 2350 fps
Varget - 59 grs - 2390 fps
 
If i use your load i should be getting similar velocities.
I just bought a cz 550 fs with 20.5" barrel, i definitely will be trying varget, rl 15
will have to wait a week or two as i don't have it in stock. Dave mentioned IMR 4320 and i called a few shops around town and nobody have it in stock.
And yes that is one excellent group with the 59 grs of varget.

I loaded 4320 behind some 270 gr Speers and was disappointed in the results . A max load(Hodgdon Site) of 56 grs gave me a velocity of only 2250 fps as opposed to a max velocity of 2430 fps with Varget and the same bullet.

The best 200 meter group I've ever shot was with the Speer bullet and 60 gr of Varget. It was .72". S-house luck but it sure felt good.
