9 Into 40

SW Mp40 mags do not hold 9mm rounds at all in my experience. New mags just spit the 9mm out.

now for something completely different...will 40 cal ammo function in a beretta 9mm magazine?
i only ask this because i can find extended (pinned) beretta 92 mags but no 96 mags for my cx4 storm

Short answer, yes, the feed lips on the 96 mags and the 92 mags are the same, but you're looking at a tight 9 rounds of 40 in the 9 mag.
