Any one have any load data with Campro 121gr bullets for 9mm Major? 3m38 or HS6 powder preferably but also wondering about OAL so post any data if you have it.

Thanks!

Mostly looking for OAL, seems like everyone on BE is running 124 HP's so cant really compare. I'll probably just end up experimenting which is fine.

What do you mean? You want someone else to tell you what OAL you should load?

Yes, I'm looking for someone to tell me exactly what I should load with regards to powder, charge weight and OAL and I will follow it no matter how ridiculous it sounds....

Or maybe I'm just trying to get a idea what is working for others to get a ballpark....

here's some workups I did with a Campro 124gr HP and Longshot. I don't have a gun that's built for 9mm major, just interested in working up some +P loads. I stopped at 164PF, but there wasn't any pressure signs, so I'm sure I could have gone up to a solid 9mm major load. You will have to match your COL and powder charge to the gun you are using. Start at the lower end and work your way up, checking for pressure signs each time.

OAL is not something to be copied, using someone's suggested OAL in your gun is ridiculous. As for major loads go to the Enos forum and ask/look for loads using a similar weighted bullet (FMJ or thick plated).

The Campro 121 is my baby!

8.8 3N38 @ 1.125 in 9mm Campro 122 yields 172 PF out of STI with hybrid barrel.

As always start lower and chronograph you load as you move up and look for pressure signs. All major loads exceed SAAMI specs.
