9 shot magazine for Ruger model 96/44 ??

Hey Pricedo, can you link me to one of these mags? A quick google only reveals an Australian who mated a factory mag with a DE 9 shot (something I've been meaning to work on myself! I have both mags.....)

:D

A picture is worth a thousand words & a video is worth quite a fraken few more !

Maybe the 9 round magazine is the product of an Aussie basement workshop.

I thought levers were banned "down under" ?

Maybe just handguns, semi-autos & pumps are??

Maybe.....just maybe....we should let Ruger in on the secret about "their" 9 shot 96/44 mag?
:)

Same guy. The mag is not in production, the ones you see he made by mating a Desert eagle mag into a factory mag housing....it's pretty clear in the comments.

Too bad though. I've been thinking about making one, but seeing as a factory mag is 40+ bucks, and the DE mags are 100, it could be an expensive experiment.

Winchester model 94 holds 6?

:D

Winchester model 94 holds 6?

Yup!!.............duuuuuhhh..........aw Gee.........that must mean the Winchester model 94 is prohibited.

Good thing there's not very many of them around. ;)

Wanna make drw's head explode? Watch this......

The mags in the video, even though they hold 9 shots, would be LEGAL in a semi auto as well :)

Why? Well....they use an adapted pistol mag....a mag that was specifically made for the DE pistol. Because the gun is unaltered, it would be legal to use these magazines in a semi rifle.

What someone needs to do is machine an adaptor that goes in the rugers magwell (a sleeve) and accepts the DE mags, using a seperate mag release....THAT would sell tons.

Despite assurances that he wouldn't Howard didn't take long turning on the Aussi GUNNUTZ once he took power.

You can't trust a single word that issues from the mouths of politicians.......ANY POLITICIANS.....not a single fraken word.

The NRA can control the politicos because it has the financial, lobbying & voting muscle to "beat them up" if they misbehave.

There's only one emotion that will control a politician................FEAR !!................just like any other soulless predator.

Honor, integrity truth, ..........................them words ain't even in the Politicians Dictionary.

IMHO, i would rather see longer mag so u can seat the bullet out further.
i had to change the barrel on mine as with the 240 gr win bullets seated 3/16
in the case, it would touch the rifleing. it grouped like buckshot. most cast
bullets will not fit in the rotary mag.
