We just ordered a new Beretta 90-Two from Smoking Gun FX today. Gonna try it out when we get it and I will write up a little review. I will try to compare it to my glock, as these two pistols will be the only ones ive fired.

I dunno. I love the 92fs, but the 90-Two kinda looks like what a sneaker company might come up with. Maybe it will grow on me.... or someday I'll want a gun that matches my shoes.

Are those grips replaceable? Also, anyone have a pic of it without the rail cover?
I agree with canfire, the design is just slightly over the top. I think with some simpler grips and without that plastic rail cover it might look real sharp.

Lost my interest in Beretta's a ways back... but since you're pumped about your new purchase I won't rain on your parade. Will be intereting to read your range report when you get it...
Sorry - I didn't mean to slag your new pistol Ontgunner. I'd love to feel up a 90-two and try it out on the range, I just meant that it wasn't love at first sight for me. I'm looking forward to your range report!

like 757 says the thing on the rail is a just a cover to protect it from stuff (what I don't know). The grips are now more like a Sig, in that they are one big piece that comes off. You can choose 3 different types, so you can have the standard, with the palm swell, the Vertec straight style, or in between.

On a FS models when the hammer is cocked switching the safety to ON will decock (drop) the hammer and disconnect the trigger. Flip the safety up and the gun is ready to fire in DA mode.
G model is decocker only, so pushing the lever down will decock the hammer but the lever will pop back up.
Personally I have no problem with a FS models

btw I think there's only two grips availabe for the 90-two regular (shown on photo on page 1) and Slim (Vertec grip)

Yes it only comes with two grips. Plus the sights are berettas new superluminara (sp?). Ill let you all know when we get it, ill post some pictures aswell and range report will be posted next weekend (if we get it by then).
