900 yrd deer hunting

wow if i could shoot at a deer confidently at 900 yards.... I know my gun up to 400 yards beyond that naaaa not worth the risk of wounding the animal.

There was an article about that in the last issue of Field and Stream, I'm guessing Jiffydawg may have been trying to post a link to the article? It was with regards to people hunting deer with 50 BMG rifles.
 
"900 yard deer shooting" Poaching. Hit the second one and apparently did nothing to retreive any of 'em. While some U.S. States allow one deer per day for several weeks or months, none of 'em see deer as varmints.
 
how can you assume anything from a short video compolation? I could label you as a poacher Sunray because I personally havent seen you ever cut a deer tag :eek:
 
These guys are set up like at a target range!
The only thing "hunting" about it, is they are shooting at deer.
If hypothetically, tomorrow they were to be forbidden all of these gadgets, would these gentlemen be have the ability to make those shots, for example just with a good 30-06 rifle/4 power scope? Or with even less gear as could be easily argued to no end.

Absolutely the worst scene was the wounded deer running away.
Not my cup of tea thank you very much.
