I was following load data of the Hodgdons website for 90gr bullets, and it had set the C.O.L to 2.380, when setting up my die for the first time, misjudged how many turns I went in, and set my bullet to 2.242.
It is loaded it with 21gr of Varget.

I have stayed away from compressed loads so far, and I do not have a bullet puller currently (new ones in the mail). My question for the more experienced reloaders is, is this round find to shoot out of a bolt action rifle, or should I wait for my bullet puller to arrive and redo it. The reason I am questioning it, is most COL i see for the 90gr bullets are between 2.35 and 2.50 so this is significantly under.

And I am unaware of how this will impact pressures. My first assumption is it should be fine, because of the powder being on the light side, but a lot of times things that work out in my head, never work out in real life, funny how that works.

Anyways, let me know what you think.

should be fine, if your worried about it wait to pull it when your puller comes in, or take your die out of your press and put that cartridge in the shell holder run it up through the hole where the die goes and grab the bullet with pliers or vice grips and pull the bullet out with the press, you will likely have to discard the bullet.

i'm assuming this is for .223?

edit: just compared the 80gr bergers to the 75gr bullets I normally use, those bullets must be long yeash, i'd get a 2nd opinion before shooting them I think.

Yes, this is for .223.
I think i'll just see what comes first, my next trip to the range, or the puller, that will most likely determine what I do with it.

edit:
Here is a picture
Far right 90gr VLD at 2.242
Middle 75gr A-MAX at 2.444
Left 90gr VLD at 2.390

I want to make sure I'm at least 1 province over from wherever you may be shooting that rifle.
That bullet is way too deep.

You'll need a kinetic puller for that one, and you'll be smacking it for days.
If it were mine, I'd push the bullet in the extra .005 it'll take to drain the powder out;). Cut the brass, save your bullet and reuse the primer too. You're out 1 piece if brass, I'll send you one if you pay post :).

Great idea with the pliers, i wrapped it in a thick cloth and didnt put too much pressure and was able to pull the bullet out without damaging it.
