A buddy is interested in my 94, it's in good/fair condition. I'm not sure what a fair price we should be talking about. Any help? Keep in mind he's a pal and I don't want to rip him off, or give the gun away either...

I was mostly joking . However I sold my uncle one in excellent condition last year for 350. He killed a nice 4 point bull moose with it. They are a handy rifle in a pretty stout cartridge (pretty much .303 British power). I have a set of scope rings here for it as well.

I was looking through this years lebaron catalogue and they have winchester 307 shells listed in it. I think there was only one load but at least you can still get shells.

Why get rid of it, the 307 win is an exellent cartridge, now hornady makes a flex-tip bullet that improves accuracy. Its my go too rifle this year. cheers

Did you know that you can single load .308 rounds in the .307 Winchester? Best to stick with 150 grain loads as the pressures are higher.

Knowing that, are you likely to not be able to fire one?

.308 has a slightly smaller rim in diameter than .307. Makes for failure to extract likely to happen if used.
