I was happy with this!




This was shot as part of my cold bore challenge,

Rem 700 SPS Varmint .308
McRees Precision stock
Timney Tirgger
Vortex 5-15x44 mil mil scope

Reloads
Federal Brass
168 SMK
43.5 gr Varget
CCI 200 Primer
Loaded to max mag length
 
Excellent shooting! I'm really jealous, wish I could get out there shooting long range.

Can you tell us about your load? Bullet and powder? Just curious.

I am shooting

I stated out with Range Brass ( Federal ) Full length sized it, Shot it, Neck size only after that. I think this is the 3rd reload I have done on this brass

Fed Brass
CCI 200 Primer
43.5 gr Varget
168gr SMK
OAL to the tip 2.823

I use AI style mags, and the bullet is loaded to max lengh that It will fit and still have a little wiggle room. I had to trim the window in the bottom of the action so the tip of the bullet would fit threw. lol




I think this will be my next shot I try!


For the Safety Officers, This is PRIVATE land. One way in and one way out. With a gate.
