... I had a 'real' Tokarev back in '99(ish), in 7.62x25, think I paid about a hundred for it, it went bang most every time - really LOUD - you couldn't hit much of anything with it, the grips would fall off periodically, the controls and design seemed archaic, and it was not at all comfortable to shoot. After having bought a second pistol (a much more current model) I had a time trying to give the thing away (ok, slight exaggeration). Anyway, IMO for anyone who cares to listen, if you spend 5 to 7x as much on a current model, you'd would end up with a gun 20x times better.
