Just want some opinions on which to buy. For a bit more money I wouldn't mind reloading some hp but does it change the recipe much? And I'm just shooting paper so paper so I know hp aren't really necessary. Thoughts?

No differences in accuracy or powder load that I can detect. The OAL of the HP rounds will be somewhat shorter than the RN but that is it.

Only like 5 bucks cheaper at canada ammo. That's why I was debating. 104.99 per 1000for fmj or 109.99 for hp.

Just so you know campro's aren't FMJ, they are plated as far as the ones your talking about are concerned.

And to answer your question again, no it won't make any difference.

I suspect that's all those hp's are for, I'd be curious to see how they actually expand since it's just plated.

I find the 124gr HP do punch cleaner holes in paper targets. I have to go back to a round nose profile for my S&W 929 though because they are much easier to speed reload.

I have loaded some 124gr HP for my JRC. They do expand almost too more much they don't penetrate very far vs coyote. I went back to FMJ b/c the wound channel is deep enough & they punch through.

That's impressive and great to know! Can you share your load data for that one? Any idea how much fps?

Sorry no chronograph. I am not quite sure of the load data at the moment. It was a nosler bullet. I see if I can find the bullet and take a photo. I kept it for a while. Hit him in the front shoulder. Which knocked him down but he got up. I was not impressed I don't personally believe the 9mm gains much with HP. It just doesn't have enough power behind them.

Ah that makes sense. I don't think the Campro HP's would expand very much. I think maybe more towards paper shooters wanting to punch clean holes? You can see the Hornady XTP on the left compared to the Campro HP on the right.
