hello everyone, i've been contemplating replacing the barrel and bushing on my norinco np29 since i got it, but now the barrel is actually starting to show some signs of wear and the bushing isnt really a tight fit, the recoil spring pushes it enough to make is sit in an angle not perfectly perpendicular to the bore axis. the barrel itself has some gouges on it on the chamber face (mostly where it slams against the extractor). you people have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about just about anything gun related. so i hope that someone will be able to point me in the right direction. where can i get a replacement barrel and bushing for my np29? hopefully and aftermarket barrel thats not as light and soft as the norinco one. (its so light both in weight and colour that it seem like its made of aluminum.) any suggestions?

If you haven't already, I'd confirm that you don't have warranty left. If you do, that would be an attractive option.
The bushing is easily replaced, if you want. A new barrel is going to cost you (and it might not be economic). Among others, Gunnar at Armco can fix you up, regardless.

retailer (Armco for example) get the barrel for you.

9mm 1911 Replacement barrels & such...
I've picked up both factory 5" 9mm [Springfield Armoury] and .38 Super [Colt Series '70] off the EE here. The former by posting a WTB ad and the latter by answering a for sale post. Both prices reasonably. The SA 9mm barrel takes the standard barrel bushings but I've since secured a factory SA bushing for it. I have the collet bushings for the Series 70 Colt but also the standard one, too.
I believe there is at least one 5" 9mm barrel for sale on the EE right now if you do a search for it...
