9mm all metal

Im going to go in a different direction and say try the Viking 446. I was extremely surprised at how smooth the pistol was overall. Single action trigger was very nice and double action was certainly better than my Beretta 92 and Walther P1. My polymer frame HK USP and Walther P99 (both 9mm) have better DA triggers. I am sure someone with more knowledge than me will explain why.

I had a Browning Hi power many years ago and had problems with it . they are usually really reliable from what I understand but I guess it was wrong - bad luck to buy it off an old highschool teacher of mine . I got payed back for being a trouble maker.

anyways if you don't have huge hands I would recomend a CZ 75 or 85 or Sp01. next if you have large hands would be the Jerico . and those are the only pistols if you want steel ones I would recomend . the CZ pistols fit my hand like a glove as in it's like shakeing hands. and the Jerico well it's over built .

on all of these pistols the slide rides inside the frame which makes for a very accurate gun . your best bet would be either a CZ 85 combat or an SP 01. they from what I understand don't have type of safety which will mess up your trigger pull . when the CZ 75 came out years ago it did'nt have the internal safety that they have today and the trigger guard was round not square.

everyone I have ever met who owns a CZ SP01 has told me they love the gun . if I was going to buy one I would stick with the metal sights not the ### fiber optic ones . they look too fragile to this guy . good luck in your choice.

You aren't getting a HK metal gun for less than $1k. Not unless it is in truly horrible shape.

As for the sig shameless plug, buy mine. :)

CZ 75 - is the way to go. BHP way over priced for what you get UNLESS you have a passion for BHP's.

Or unless you find that a HiPower happens to fit you well and a CZ doesn't.

A HiPower isn't cheap new but if you can be patient one may be found used in very good condition for a much more reasonable price (than a new one - a used CZ might maintain the price differential.)

Well I had a few minutes off from work today, so I visited a local gun shop. They had many semi-autos. They looked at me like I was a bit weird when I asked to see whta they had that was all metal. In the end they showed me a CZ (I think it was a 75), then a Beretta, then a SIG 229. I liked them all. They all felt right in my hand. Any comments on these three?

All 3 are great guns, 229 not very common from what i gather

CZ75, recommended. Feels nice, especially when you wrap a rubber Hogue grip around the handle. Milady's shot both that and a Sig 226, loves them both. I have about 5000 rounds through my CZ, bought very used-but-not-abused, regularly hit gongs at 50 yards, can shoot about 250 rounds in a session with no ill effects.

All three choices are good. Make sure holsters are available.

Yea about $45 a piece & 9mm is almost no kick
Any idea who sells the mags? I just got a Jericho 941 in 9mm as my first handgun and am looking to accessorize. I'm glad I went with the steel frame, it feels AMAZING in my hand, I can't wait for the pistol range at my club to open so I can finally shoot it.
