9mm all metal

I too was in the market for a 9mm pistol. I was going to purchase the CZ Shadow, it had the best "feel" of any other gun I tried...

However, I ended up buying a Smith & Wesson 5906. It's a discontinued model, however it has pretty amazing reviews for a pistol... Full metal. Great sights. Shoots accurately - maaaybe a little heavy on the recoil... I put several hundred rounds through it yesterday and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Gun pictured is not mine! I'll post mine later...

For me, the steel frame makes a big difference in my shooting enjoyment. When I did a back-to-back between the BHP, the cz75 and the P226 I found the Sig to be significantly more "snappy" than the other two and I attributed the difference to the frame weight. My .45 Gold Cup seemed relaxing by comparison. I found "better" for me was a steel frame probably b/c that is what I was used to.

Well I had a few minutes off from work today, so I visited a local gun shop. They had many semi-autos. They looked at me like I was a bit weird when I asked to see whta they had that was all metal. In the end they showed me a CZ (I think it was a 75), then a Beretta, then a SIG 229. I liked them all. They all felt right in my hand. Any comments on these three?
