OK time for a new project. After you purchase the 9MM RRA A4 pistol complete, and you want to change, to say a LaRue handguard, do you need to change/remove the gas block? Will a LaRue low profile gas block work?
I suppose that the buffer tube needs to be replaced?

Is the 9mm version blowback?

As you suspected, stright blowback. The gas block currently is only used to hold the front sight in the correct spot.

You can just cut the delta ring off the barrel as well as the weld spring and c clip if you don't want to pull the barrel to get them off. Buffer tube will need to be replaced with a telestock of your choice.

So if I hear you correctly, if you change to a LaRue handguard you don't need to replace the gas block? if you are going with a flip up front sight(handguard mounted)
Remove the old gas block and install the new handguard.

Would the 10" LaRue handguard work with the KX3 flash hider?
