The fact that they don't ship is irrelevent since you'd need someone state side to neuter them before they come up here.

-ship to neuterer
-neuterer ships to Canadian importer
ETA: I suppose that a business with a license for prohibs could import them directly and neuter them here, not sure if that conflicts with end user certs or not though.

It works by cutting a slot on the spine on the very top of the mag so the bolt catch leg protrudes into the magazine to make contact with the top of follower after the last round is expended.
A shooting colleague turned me onto this idea. It took me a few seconds to click in what he meant as it's one of those simple ideas that'll have you think why you didn't think of it yourself.
He mentioned some people thought he was a nut job and that it would not work with an Uzi mag. Probably thought it was too simple to wrap their head around the idea, that if this worked, someone else would have though of it already. I guess someone else did. Goes to prove old guys know stuff.
I did the UZI mag conversion many many years ago to use on my Colt 9mm. Back then people want a new born for every colt factory 9mm mag.
First of all, UZI does not quite fit properly into the mag well - it is loose and wobble a lot.
Second, the bolt catch dos not work with UZI mag
Third, real uzi mag with hardened stamped sheet steel is a ##### to cut - the gunsmith who did it regret of doing it......
Save youself the crying and tears, get some 10 rounders off Questar. Cannot be more troublesome than cutting UZI mags.
Fourth, you better cut the slot at the right spot
