Ever since reading Ghostie's post, I took an interest in 9mm ARs, like RRA LAR-9.
How does it shoot? I mean, in terms of range and recoils. It must be different from shooting other pistol-clibre rifles like Cx4 Storm.

And, how does it cycle 9mm cartridge? Does it work like other SMGs?

I have a Colt 9mm AR. It shoots quite well really. They are a 25 to 50 metre rifle. I imagine they would shoot to 100m, but I don't think they would be that terribly accurate :)

The rifle fires from a closed bolt, the same as a regular 5.56mm AR, not an open bolt like most SMG's. Mine s very reliable and cycles low cost white box 9mm perfectly.

I could keep most of my 100m shots within the C zone of an IPSC target. That's off a bench slow fire though.

Like smgcon said, it really is a 50m rifle.

Shot an M-16K(SMG) using IVI ball, at Second Chance, long ago. Remarkably accurate at 150 yards, up hill, at a man sized target. The Colt rep just looked at me when I told him I wanted 100 of 'em.
