A friend recently acquired a 9mm Bayard caliber semi auto as part of a family inheritance. It appears to be well made and of good quality for as a collector item but a bit of an odd ball for a shooter. The cartridge appears to be very close to a Super 38 although slightly shorter. From Cartridges Of The World, it looks as though cases 'might' be able to be made by shortening 9mm Winchester Magnum cases. Anyone have any experience with this caliber? Is original ammo available for it and if so, from where? If not, what could the brass for it be made from?
