Had a chance to get this ammo out to the range today, ran 200 rnds in my Glock 17. Ammo groups well, felt a little hot to me but preformed well. Only issue that I had was 3 rounds all labeled F.C. on the base of the round primer struck, no bang. FTF
Any one know what F.C. is?
Any one have the same or other stoppages with the wartak 124 G 9mm ?
Over all not bad ammo hopefully the 800 rnds I have left do not have many FTFs
Thanks again FOC for the sale
I went to buy some yesterday at my lgs in Cambridge and was told that what he had left he took off the shelf due squib loads with 3 other guys. He called Wartak and they said they had a bad batch run. You should call them.
Any left?
I don't know if this is the right forum to post this in but here it goes.
I bought 400rds of these reloads, and although I realize that this isn't factory ammo, and the price was right, but I did encounter some issues.
Out of 100 rounds fired, I had 12 FTFs and they simply would not fire from my friend's SP-01.
Now... The SP-01 has been modded with a lighter hammer spring. So I can't totally fault the ammo. However, I would think that at least a few rounds would have gone bang out of a mag.
In my M&P9, I managed to get all FTF rounds to fire if I hit them again, but it seems an awfully high failure rate.
The obvious cause might be "hard" primers.
Anyone else have such high rates?
Ps my M&P has been 100% reliable with anything I've thrown into it (Rem UMC, Win white box, S&B, Blazser brass, AE, even Barnaul) including today when I switched to S&B factory stuff.
On a side note. The guys at FOC have been really good to deal with, and this is in no way a slam on anyone.
I haven't had a chance to test any of the 1k of rds I bought. Is there a batch number or other info we can check that have issues? Or is it all stock you had on sale that is affected?
The batch I had a problem with ended in 0007
