Ok, with layoff time here, I have to quit shooting the 45 and stick to the cheap stuff. Problem, I'm outa 9mm bullets. Where is the cheapest place in SW Ontario to find 115-124 grn plated bullets?

Sigh, unemployed, will work for bullets:D

The best way is to buy allot, and get a deal. I have yet to find any caliber of ammo cheaper than if I buy in large quantities.

If you can't buy in bulk (at least 4000-5000 rounds) you pretty much have to shop around. Epps and Williams sometimes get a shipment of nice Winchester 115. My buddy owed me a few bucks a month ago and grabbed some white box at Epps, $220 for 100. Needless to say that stuff is all gone!

If you factor in driving around, time and repeated buys at higher prices (unless you get lucky) buying in bulk just makes more sense, especially if the shops you are looking in are far from you.

Cheap 9mm

if your ok with feeding it lead, check wolf bullets , they are based out of kingson and will ship to where ever.
I think they had a web site at one time, try www.wolfbullets.com
Problem shipping a box of lead can be pricey.
I used to buy em from Williams in port perry.

For less than $100.00 you get yourself set up to cast your own bullets! A used cast iron pot, soup ladle, LEE 9mm mould & Lee sizing kit and you're good to go. Check out you local tire shop for free wheel weights and you're laughing. I got tired of paying crazy bucks to ship heavy components like bullets. Got myself set up for casting about 8 years ago and haven't bought any manufactured pistol bullets since.

+ 1 on X-man suggestion!

You'll have plenty of time on your hand, so why not get into casting? It will take you about 1000 bullets to recover your initial investment... After that, it's free bullets!

And if our government ever decides to impose so new rules on reloading components, it's one less thing to worry about
