Just started running 9mm through my Lee Precision Challenger with the Lee 9mm die set. Case prep and die setup have been the biggest learning curve so far. For those who've been at this a while — any early mistakes I should watch out for, or adjustments that made a noticeable difference in your setup? Also curious what most people here use for brass sorting/prep on 9mm since range brass is such a mixed bag.

I use mixed brass, dont fuss over brass brand type. I use a ultra sonic cleaner which gets the primer pockets nice and clean, that way I minimize primer seating failures. Never force, always stop and inspect. When you get the brass nice and clean it is easier to find hairline cracks and dents. If you are ever in doubt with a loaded or in process case, put it aside. Not worth blowing up a a gun or risking injury to save .50 cents in brass.
