9mm carbine muzzle brake experience?

I put one on my 9mm JR carbine. Waste of money, no difference noted.

What brake specifically is this?

Chatter in the Enos boards are in the same boat. Better to manage buffer/spring combos and load development (for those shooting AR variants) then invest in a brake.

Fair. And thank you. Taran tactical girls commented on the brake she has. She is running the pcc in competition.
Sounds like a jr carbine needs some weight shed... lol

I posted a WTB for one in the black rifles EE.

I'm going to have an old Miculek style 3 port brake re-purposed (for my current 9mm AR PCC build) by having it reamed to allow 9mm projectiles to pass through. It will all be for looks.

Don't overpay. Grab a 223/5.56 brake from eBay for 10 bucks and have a machine shop with a capable lathe ream it for you.

A few things to consider, like barrel length and overall what platform you are shooting. I think with the NR variants there isn't a ton of extra gas to dissipate at the end of an 18.5" barrel. I think the best bet there is (if you really want something) is a diffuser of some sort. I have seen some advantages to using the Odin Works ATLAS 9, SJC Titan and the MBX block on some shorter completion builds, but all those builds are on Restricted platforms.

I would second the tuning, huge game changer for the PCC's, start with the right buffer and you have a very good chance of having a really nice shooting platform.

Did the same thing, bought a cheap ebay .223 brake, machined it to 9mm + a few thou. Didnt notice any compensation benefits. But it looks good and protects the crown.

Brakes on a PCC are pretty much for the cool factor and don't really do anything except if you are running a Major load. Better to play with the buffer and spring as that's where your gonna notice how the gun feels.
