9mm Carbine Options?

CX4 Storm 9mm non-restricted length
JR Carbine 9mm non-restricted
Thureon Defence 9mm non-restricted
Rock River Arms dedicated 9mm LAR-9 - restricted
Marlin Camp 9 (if you can find one) restricted

I Agree on the JR carbine. About as customizable as an actual AR as well. Only a couple things you can't change. Love mine and I constantly go back to it. I just recently bought a vz 58 and I still prefer to shoot my JR over it. Just bought an EOTECH EXPS3 for it too! :D

The nicest of them all is the Thureon Defense. But they aren't easy to find and cost more that the JR. Over a nicer and better built gun that takes all AR trigger parts so it's easy to upgrade. I had a 45 and a 9mm... Much preferred the 9mm. It was an 2 MOA gun with decent ammo and good optic.
I owned JR's as well and they're fine. But if I wanted the best... It's a thureon.

Are you looking exclusively at NR options?

Because this is damned affordable:

This is expensive but awesome:

And this is expensive and looks awesome (no personal experience, but I hear good things)

JR carbine has the worst field strip! have to take the whole stock off and it used screws not pins, the thureon defense comes apart with 2 pins. or if you have 2 grand to spend you could get a kriss. i think the big selling point of the kriss only really matters when in full auto, so kind of a waste to get one in semi. if you want a non restricted 9mm carbine i suggest the thureon defense GA carbine. simple strip as i already mentioned, one thing people like about the JRC more is you can use AR forearms, and can't on the thureon. i hope you enjoy what ever you chose! i was going to get a thureon, but i figured id give an XCR a chance.
