9mm Factory Ammo Below 125 PF?

Does anyone know of a instance where mainstream factory 9mm ammo has NOT made minimum power factor? I would assume all factory loaded 9mm ammo (115gr, 124gr, 147gr) would exceed 125 PF unless.........?

Not that I am aware. Most is in the high 130 (139pf). there is a brand called Magtech?? Not sure but I heard it is lower.
 
Winchester used to make a 9mm subsonic rd can't remeber the bullet weight but it was below minor power floor. Of course would also depend on the gun. I have seen huge variance betweeen individual gun using same ammo.
 
the 147gr I was using (winchester White box), made 144-147pf. the 124gr made about 139-140pf. This is out of a Hk USP polygonal barrel. The 124gr Ammunition Canadian BDX / Combat Masters makes and sells runs 134pf out of my USP as tested at the Canadian nationals on a CED chrony. It is better than factory IMHO. All ammo runs a little hotter in my pistol than most. Very tight and it is still "relatively" new.
 
I remember at the 2001 Canadian Nationals, I was squadded with a guy shooting Winchester 147 grain 9mm. At the chrono, they fired all 6 rounds, and then had to fire the 7th to get over the 125 PF floor.

WOW, that is a worn out barrel, or a faulty chrony.
Can anyone tell me how we got at a minor PF of 125 for IPSCwhen most factory runs quite a bit hotter than that...?

Looking at the Winchester USA white box stuff, I've used/fired all bullet weights in the very recent past, and shooting out of the likes of the baby eagle, sig, and the Tanfoglio L, the 115gr is about 136-137, the 124gr is about 140-142, and the 147gr is somehere in mid 140s.

This is, really, the only factory ammo I shoot, so I can't comment on others.

Also, this is in the southern Ontarion elevation; when I was in Halifax last year, the 115gr was in high 120s - same ammo, same gun, different part of the country...

This is the reason I am asking about power factor. I have purchased two cases of Winchester white box 124gr FMJ ammo for the first time. Up until now, I have used the 115gr load exclusively. I have found the recoil of the 124gr load to feel rather 'soft' compaired to the 115 grainers and the POI is a little lower. I didn't have a box of 115gr to do a side by side compairson; but I will do that later this week.

It was a police officer's S&W duty gun. I doubt he shot it enough to wear out the barrel, unless the RCMP does some kind of firearm recylcing between officers. I didn't ask too much about it; I just remember giving the guy advice on what he should do when the chrono guy asked him whether to fire or weigh the last round.
 
I don't think it was short barreled. It was one of the standard, full length semi-automatics. I've never seen an RCMP duty sidearm that would have been prohib (at least not like a snubby).

Who knows? It might have been a bad batch.

I thought they all were prohib length.
