9mm Flobert Garden Gun

Seen'em on line.
Nothing for sale in Canada tho.
I woudl definitely be keen an a wee break action SxS or OU in 9mm Flobert.

An OU deringer would be ideal.
I got an over/under combination rifle/shotgun in a 9mm Flobert / 22 LR. It's manufactured by Rhoner Sportwaffen. The perfect combo in my opinion, lol.

No I didn't see them at GnG. I wish I had because they had them a 150 bucks cheaper then what I paid from a person on EE. Unfortunately that person wasn't honest either and sent me a gun that misfires so I had to send it off to a gunsmith to get it fixed which will cost me another 250 bucks and at least 4 months waiting time.

would love to see that post a couple pics please
Sorry I don't have the gun, it is getting repaired by a gunsmith because it was light striking the 22 lr cartridges and randomly misfiring unfortunately. When it did work the odd time, it was such a nice gun to shoot.

That sux.
I have only had one bad experience on the EE over the years (knock wood).

Wicked cool gun tho.

My flobert handles the shot cartridges brilliantly but the Breach Cap rounds get pretty stuck in the chamber after firing and i need to “tap” them out with the extractor by knocking the bolt back 4 or 5 times.

I guess my chamber is a bit big and allows for those cases to expand too much??

Anyone else have this issue?

I have the same issue with all 3 of my Flobert shotguns so your experience is in my opinion "normal". I have 2 Chiappa Little Badgers, one in a 18.5 inch barrel and one in a 24" barrel and the combo gun. The 18.5 inch Chiappa is quiet but the same gun in a 24 inch barrel is even quieter while also deliverying a bit more veleocity and energy down range.

I love reading threads like this except for the "my $1000 blah-blah-blah would totally out shoot that!!". People that shoot a 9mm Flobert don't shoot it because it's the best. They shoot it for the nostalgia, the nod to years gone by where this little darling performed exactly how it was supposed to. These are my people, the people that love their CZ in 17HMR but also love an afternoon with a 1930's single shot .22 Winchester 69. Just because something isn't the most modern or the most advanced doesn't mean it can't be a bucket load of fun! Expand your minds folks!

^yeah, I had to know myself and made like a 7 hour return trip to the only place that had ammo. They wouldn't ship. lol

I'd hate to get lost in the eccentric stuff, but I see the temptation. Picking the severely-jammed ball-ammo cases out of the receiver on my Anschutz single shot had a slow, black-powder-like fiddliness to it...but I had ton's of fun anyway. Interesting to see the weight of that projectile crashing into a propane cylinder when the gun that shot it had no recoil and made very little noise.

The 7 hours was worth it. ;)
