Gone fishn is the only source....Rip off prices and poor selection.....
I would like to second the plug for combat ammo...but I won't.
The many rounds of ammo I just bought from them are jewels.....simply fab..and I don't want any more demand driving up their prices or reducing their availability to me...definitely stay away.

!!!!I hear you. They are super expensive. I shoot .44 and buy from SIR or Russels. I have found a guy to reload my bullets at a fraction of the cost. I suggest Marstar or Lever Arms. 9mm is less than $ 10.00 a box to shoot. If you buy out of BC you only pay 1 tax, shipping is around $ 20.00 for a good pile of ammo.

The big problem ordering ammo here on the island is the shipping charges. There is new store in Parksvile AGM sportsmans pitstop...they sell ammo and will be getting hand gun ammo..I asked them to order some bulk 9mm....but nothing yet.

I hear MD Charlton in Victoria has some cheaper 9mm, somewhere in the $8per box of 50 range? Winchester I believe....not sure of weight (gr)

Be sure to not support the only store in Naniamo that sells 9mm at $14/ box + taxes. So you can always drive down to Victoria for about $20 and 3 or 4 hours of time , to buy 9mm at maybe $8/box + taxes ..When you travel or mail order be sure to take account of all the costs( price+ taxes +gas+time or price + taxes+ shipping +hazmat+ long distace phone call cost). Sometimes convenience is worth something( like those 2 boxes you bought, it cost you about $11 to not go to Vic or Van ,which would have cost you way more in travel.). If more people bought at local stores they could maybe order larger amounts and give better prices. Now if you have to be in Victoria or Vancouver for some other reason and can take advantage of different pricing, go for it. Yes , sometimes the mail order places are the only one that have what you want/need. It also sees a little in poor taste to complain about someone having something that you needed and couldn't find anywhere else locally.

I am assuming you are part of a club? Give them you membership number at Gone Fishin, you get 10% off.
Screw the winclean, you don't need it. I order fmj wwb 115gn or 124gn from them, comes out to about 11 bucks a box. It's good enough if you're in a bind. Otherwise, get yourself a reloader. like me. Otherwise, the closest place is Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver, buy them by the 1k. for about 200 bucks.
