9mm lead bullets

Well, I've been reloading for 9mm for a few years now and I've only been using FMJ bullets up to this point. In order to increase my savings I want to make the leap to lead bullets. What are most of you guys using? SWC or RN? What weight bullet?

hi bud,
I've been loading (for doug)some 135 grain DRG roundnose lead from dennis with 3.9 of 231 and they make power factor are very accurate and cheap. the only drawback is the bullet lube smokes a lot - kinda like a smokepole in the sun. PM later and I will give you cost figures

I use 125gr. round nose, with 3.5 wst.

What OAL are you seating them at?

121 grain TC's with 3.5 grains of Bullseye, as I recall. The pistol has to be set up to shoot SWC's.

i use semi wadcutters for my .45 but 9mm glock i dont bother just DRG 125 grain they are 37 bucks for 500.

Also check out AIM projectiles 124gr copper plated. 100 bucks for 1000 after tax.

bullet must stick out the barrel, pinocchio style, when you chamber it.
