9MM Load

Havn't loaded in about 15 yrs. and getting back into it. As well as I.P.S.C. I found some 125gr. lead round nose and some Bullseye powder to get started with. I am useing a Glock 17 and want to keep the leading to a minimum. Also came across about 1/2 pound of Accurate No.7 I would to push the same lead with. Any recomondations would be greatly appreciated, tkx. Doug

I'd say the same - no lead for Glocks.

As far as powder, thou I haven't tried it myself, I've heard very good comments on Silhuette (comparable to 3N37 at half price). Go with Winchester or Federal primers as opposed to CCI and look into Montana Gold bullets. You should be pretty happy with the results.

Get some plated projectiles, Bullseye is good for 9mm, so is AA#2, I used that stuff for years and loved it. I did have good luck with Bullseye, I used that for quite a while when I first started reloading 9mm. I think the brand is federal arms, they have replacement Glock bbls which arent polygonal and the lead would be OK. I believe they are relatively cheaply priced too, and are drop-in.
