Hello new to relaoding and am starting with 9mm.

I am trying to figure out it I should go with 124 or 147. I want it for IPSC and be used in a G17 and NZ 85b.

I will be using Tight group for powder.

So any suggestions will be welcomed

I use 138gr Frontiers (used 124gr before) and with Power Pistol...

the problem is that you have to pretty much guess the how much powder to use since there is no data for 138gr bullets.

138 is a weird size, I'd start at the 147 MAX load and go up from there. Always observe the warnings. Do not reload if you are unsure of the load.

However, if you are into IPSC, I'd wait till I could get a steady supply of bullets that are the weight you'll keep shooting with. The less variables the better. I'm sure someone at the club can assist you.

FWIW my Production load for the G17 is Montana Gold 147gr CMJ with 3.4gr of Titegroup. Real puff load... soft and accurate.
