I had free access to match-grade .30 caliber barrels in any twist or length I wanted. I would have gone 9mm, but I would have had to source an inferior quality barrel and pay for it.

Can anyone recommend a source for NR barrels for the lugers?
I have a few 12/6 luger's and a few friends that would love to get one if there were a source.

Talk to Peter at lugercollector.com. He did one up for me recently with a restricted barrel. Price was reasonable and work was completed quickly.
I think re barreling the Luger is the smart way to go...really ! If its prohibited Status..and worth "$2000".. who is it actually worth that to?? only another 12.6 holder....and there getting older and some have passed already !! not many of us can buy one, so the market is Tiny !! Now,..if you rebarrel them..WALLA ..now 20,000 people can purchase it !! It now has SALE value. I would buy a "rebarrel" in a heart beat ! I dont give a rats ass about COLLECTOR STATUS...collecting dust..I want to buy it..own it..and SHOOT the dam thing. I would love to own and shoot a piece of history..wouldnt you to ?
